A small but interesting morsel from the folks at Projectnext.eu: If you have the latest version of Nokia PC Suite installed, and rename any file using the extension .n-gage it will automatically adopt a Nokia application icon, and right-clicking on it will bring up an option to install it. This option doesn't work of course, but the fact that it appears implies that PC Suite has already been designed with the Next Gen N-Gage platform in mind.

This option doesn't work of course, but the fact that...
WRONG!!! its work, but u must have ORIGINAL *.N-GAGE file (u cant rename SIS to N-GAGE or N-GAGE to SIS)! When u rename N-GAGE file to SIS, the phone say that the file are not support!!!
*.N-GAGE files can be ONLY istall on phone, when u have install already final version from N-GAGE 2.0 Platform (the demo version, what are already on some n-gage phones not support it... only final version)! When u have it, u can install the N-GAGE Game on Phone, Card or HDD.
NeXt Team 😊
Pl_pirat, I just meant that the installation won't work if you rename any file, because there aren't any N-Gage games available yet.
Like you say, the N-Gage demos on certain phones seem to be ordinary SIS files.
N-Gage are SIS too... its pack with GCCE (GNU Compiler Collection for Embedded

when u install games, u became text "that u must have already install ngage platform to play/start it". when u have only the demo version its will not work.
personally im surprised they found this - who sits at there computer trying out different file extensions lol
ll... we have found this @ ngage games :P. or u think we test all different file extensions... (i never see befor a file name with - or 6 letters).
I created a dummy text file with the extension .n-gage. It does show a SIS file icon.
