Ok.as the title suggests I'm having problems with the Music Player.Anytime that I'm listening to music while browsing the internet it crashes.But not only does it crash unexpectedly.But it causes my N95 to lock up and requires a battery pull to get it to work again.I did a search for a post with the exact same problem but didn't find any.Now I know that the Music Player will turn itself off due to RAM.But never before did it lock up my phone to the point of a battery pull!And even worse is that it's random.Sometimes a couple of songs and sometimes an entire album.But either way it's pist me off into another spectrum of reality.So any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.I've already done a *#7370# reset.So if you got something else please let me know.TIA.Also,I'm using a N95-1 on v20 FW.
Music Player crashing and locking up my N95
Mine would lock up sometimes too, for me the cause seems to be just too many open applications - Music, GPS (Garmin MXT), rotate me, advanced call manager etc.
Generally the music player would be the last thing I open, I guess if the moon isn't quite right it kills the whole system.
The solution for me was just to use an alternate media player.
I only have the Music Player and the Browser going at the same time.But either way,I need to fix this.So what Alternate media player should I use?And how would It stop the phone from crashing?Isn't it crashing due to RAM issues?Wouldn't the new media player use up the same amount of RAM?if not,then point me that way.lol.Cause all I want to do is jam the Kings of Leon and The Black Angels while browsing damnit!Is that too much to ask?lol.But thanks for the quick reply.
Lonely Cat Games Jukebox is what I use, though there are perhaps 6 or 7 other media players that work too.
are you playing the music from a memory card?
does it do the same if you play music from say the phone memory??
i was wondering is it because of your screensaver that's why you having this problems ?
