get to open contacts 9210i
If you have any of the following, you can sync the contacts with the app and then open it. I don't know if 'import' would work to any of these if you can't do the sync anymore.
Microsoft Schedule+ 7.x
Microsoft Outlook 97/98/2000/2002
Lotus Notes 4.5, 4.6 & 5.0
Lotus Organizer 5.0, 6.0, 97, GS/4.0
Sync with Outlook or other tools specified in PC Suite is fine but what if I want to copy it using Windows Explorer?
It always flashes a message 'Try again', 'Cancel' etc.
What's the reason for this and is there any way by which I can get a copy of contacts.cdb on my PC?
I also would like to know what is the format in which contacts.cdb is stored.
Any takers?
😃
I am having this problem too, did anyone find the solution??
To copy/move contacts.cdb:
1) In contacts, select menu/file/new database
2) enter name e.g contacts1
3) This creates a new contacts1.cdb file on the MMC card
4) In contacts select all (cntrl a)
5) menu/more options/copy to "contacts1"
6) wait a while for all the contacts to copy over......
6) contacts1 can be copied moved, etc like any other file
Reverese the procedure to get the data back into contacts.
Apart from this method and synching with the PC via PC suite, I have come across no other way of handling the contacts data.

... or using, eg. Contacts Manager.
