Hi guys i have an N73 that i changed to the music edition. Now that i am changin phones and giving the n73 to my brother. The phone will only work if it is my sim card. All sims that i have tried are o2 UK and the phone will go into offline mode unless its my sim card.
If you try to select general profile it comes up "Insert Sim Card". So i enable the lock phone if sim change and it asked me for the lock code when i change the sim to a different one so the phone is reading the sim.
I tried changing the product code to several other to get the nokia updater to reflash it but it keeps saying i have the latest firmware which shows on the phone as 4.0736.3.2.1
Any ideas on what i can try to get it sorted.

Sounds like your old phone is simlocked, what network is it on?
If you search the web you can get it unlocked for about �4, all you need handy is your imie number.
Hi thanks for reply but i know its not simlocked as i have used various network sims in the phone. I was using it on o2-UK and now it wont accept any sim card from any network apart from my personal sim that i am using in my new phone. I am trying to insert another o2-UK sim so even it was simlocked it should work.
