Isn't there going to be an N82 Firmware thread !?
My N82 i got yesteday's given me problem.

First of all, i love this phone... its damn zippy fast 😃 Startup time is less than 10secs.
I opened up the music player-- and here's my first problem-- it keeps on searching for musics and podcasts back and forth repeatedly.. it doesnt even pause or stop. Maybe its because i had only one song in. (Didnt slip in the memory card yet) . Anyways, so it keeps on showing "searching for music" switches to "searching for podcast" :like that "continuosly;non-stop. Pressing stop doesnt do anything but hang it.
Second problem:
My memory card (that came with it) is "leaking"..
Yes, LEAKING .. like a leaking pipe... i'll explain.

The memory card that came with the phone is 2Gb (yummy!)
containing city maps and stuff --so 1.6Gb initially.
I transfer stuff from my other flash drive into my N82's. It all goes well. Then i start to re-arrange the icons and stuff,,,..suddenly i get a "Memory Card Low,please delete some data" message.. Quite spooky, cause i didnt even fill my card more than half-way.
I decide to install Handy Taskman;to really see whats,really,going on.
Suprisingly i notice that whenever i switch apps,or de-press the "menu key" or open a folder,open an app.. memory goes out of the ram(quite normal) but also.. it goes out of the memory card too!!
Its really creeping me out ! :?
I checked online at nokia( with product code in hand) and was told my firmware's the lastet..

This is all creeping me out..initially i thought it was the memory card at fault.. so to isolate the assumed culprit, i re-formatted it(memory card) into FAT32 by pc then formatted it by phone and then (painstakingly ) copy all my stuff back.
Problem still persists.
I tried searching through the card's hidden files for anything to explain this fault-- but have so far found none.
Anybody out there with the same or similar problem?
