broken n95 screen?

crikey. Let us know if you pull this off!

I've read that the N95 8Gb has slightly different measurements so the faceplate might not fit. However, the measurements difference may just be on the back of the phone to make way for a larger battery. Can anyone who has both confirm this?

Yeah but that was different concept he was trying to splice 2 halfs together and slider rails or something was different, this is like adding 1/4 so slider rails would be no prob, is a long shot but might work

Don't suppose you have one of these drawings for the 8gb version do you? I was wondering about whether its possible to upgrade the 8gb flash memory inside

Fitting the larger screen is one of the things Yade was trying to do but found the hardware too different between models. But I'll be interested if someone else could do it.
