Firmware and 3G

Hello 1st post here please go easy,

I upgraded my Nokia N73 (Pay as you go 3) to the Music edition firmware to enable the added bluetooth features for my bluetooth speakers.

I have all the other problems people have with MSN messenger etc and should have really stuck with the original firmware.

What I really want to sort out is the internet, I used to have a Planet3 icon on the desktop but that went so I now access the new with the 0 button. When I press 0 it says connecting to 3 wap and not 3G. How do I fix this so it connects using 3G please? I never had a problem before and coverage in my area has allways been good.

Thanks,
Con1_uk. 😊

Have you tried checking its settings?
Open Services > Option > Settings

then change your access point.. If there is no other access points available, Run Settings Wizard or just ask your Operator (3 in your case)..

Rang three and asked them to send the settings and its behaving now.

The last time they sent the settings it didnt work.

One other thing can you still access 3mail (with the right settings) if you have de branded it to the ME firmware?

Thanks.😊

hmm.. i'm not sure with that coz im not on 3 and my phone is not branded.. but maybe you could try it out and give us a feedback.. 😊
