Psiloc has released it's Ir Remote for Symbian s60v3 devices, inlcuding the N95. You can download a trial good for 10 days from their site (.com.)
It has a great database of devices and you can even program your own and create your own remote through the Psiloc site.
I've used it and can confirm it works, although you need to be fairly close to the device you are attempting to control.

This is quite old news, it was released a while ago.
I tired it and found it a complete pain to use. The range of angles at which the ir works seems ridiculously tight so I end up tipping it back and forth trying to get it going. Plus Psiloc need to ditch that crappy drm common solutions crap which slows the phne down and clearly doesn't work anyway cos all their software is available online cracked and normally only a few days after release!
