Hello, I'm currently trying out this application called Auto Hang Up, which sits in the background and ends any call, incoming or outgoing, when its duration surpasses an user-defined amount of time. My problem is that when I open the program in the Programs bit of my phone all is well (when I hold the menu button the program is listed as running in the background), but when I switch off/on my phone the program doesn't get restarted with the operating system. On my pay as you go tariff the first hour of any call is super-cheap, after which it starts costing a lot. I have wasted a lot of money being on the phone beyond the hour thinking that Auto Hang Up will kick in, until I discovered the problem.
Anyone know how to get apps to "autorun" whenever the phone is switched on?
Thanks
Hy thi sis exzactly the same problem i am having
You can try PowerBoot...I think that will solve your problem.

Thanks for that - I will give it a go.
Hi you can use Taskman it's HOT
Kelwa18@gmail - can you explain what you mean in greater detail please. thanks a lot. is taskman another program, or a feature within the N80.
FluxCapacitor - PowerBoot works great. the only annoyance is that it doesn't run Auto Hang Up in "minimised" (background) mode. when I start my phone AHU is there in front of me. I can easily just press the "Hide" button in the program (which will get it out of the way, and only appearing in the task list when I hold down the menu button), but I want this to be automated. is there any way (or any other program) to do this for me?
thanks
No TASKman is a APP For the S60 3rd edition ... and it work's like (Task maneger) on the Computer ... you can (end task) of App like the Computer ... and you can use it to active the needed App that you want to Start with..
For anyone else out there that was having the same annoyance as me with the fact that the apps remain open after being automatically loaded by PowerBoot (i.e. not minimized), I have found a solution.
When in the Startup List of PowerBoot, select to "Add Running App..." and then find the process Idle.exe. Add this to the END of the list, and hey presto, after automatically running your apps it will then run Idle.exe which will return the user to the main screen of your phone.
