Im still not 100% sure whether or not a 4gb Micro SD-HC card is compatible with my N95..I have not yet tested this and would like any response and feedback from AAS members please..
Is there also plain 4gb Micro SD available for N95 or just the SD-HC ???
I read somewhere that there is a size difference between the 2 types..is this true??

Nokia N95
V20.0.015
Product Code 0534847

Thanks

4gig micro-SDHC and also 8gig micro-SDHC will work with the nokia N95. It's been stated that theoretically 32gig micro-SDHC (when released) will work with the N95, but so far 12 gig (micro) is the largest and that is only available to private testers.

But to answer your question clearly, 4GB micro-SDHC cards WILL work with your N95 with no problems. There is a size difference between SD and micro-SD, the N95 accepts only micro-SD, and if you want larger than 2gig, you will have to get the micro-SDHC format.

Ive seen many people say they are using 6 and 8Gb cards without problems. I am using a 4GB card in my 6110, relased the same time as the N95.

I havent ever heard of a normal (non HCSD) card over 2GB though.

HC means High Capacity so anything over 2gb will be SDHC rather than just SD. Loads of people on here have 4 or 8Gb cards which work fine. The only reason the N95 is quoted as supporting 'up to 2Gb' is because that is all that was available at the time.

SD and SDHC is referring to the difference in the format used on the card, SD is FAT whereas SDHC is FAT32.

I've got an 8GB SDHC card in mine, running no probs at all...
