Http://live.mobile.com in your broser gives you the same functionality for free..
Just wondering, can anyone tell me if the Vodafone firmware MSN Messenger is going to be charged for? Its not that important an app for me, but really cuts down on SMS. And I may change my n95-8gb code back to Voda if its still free.
Microsoft will probably start denying access based on user agent strings if their paid model doesn't take off. (Ok, speculation) Alternatively they might just receive a class action lawsuit.
Allowing the service for free on devices running their own operating system, charging for others. Not cool. I can't think of any way to justify this model, someone else elegantly said in another thread that if users had to pay for the application, then no problem, just so long as the service was free after that.
Who knows, maybe there is more to this story than I quite understand, might make for a good slashdot article though 😊
