N95-1 & N95-2 multimedia menus

We all know that the multimedia key menus differ between the N95-1 and N95-2 (see below if you don't know what I mean). I know that this menu is being integrated into Nokia's next lineup of phones, but what I'd like to know is whether Nokia is going to change the menu to the new one for the N95-1?

Also as well, anyone who has both... what's the new menu like to use?

personally i hope they never update my n95-3 with the new multimedia menu, because it is not customizable. i dont like it. sure you can change whats already in it, but you cant add your own apps to it like the original multimedia menu. i like having my own carousel of shortcuts.

I dont care about neither, but I like the look of the newer one.

I to don't like either of them, but the old one is quite cool when you're using pictures from your gallery as background. Great for showing off your N95 😊

I've had both versions.

The first one you can customize with your own preferred apps, having the most used ones closest to the centre. This makes it very fast to open the program you need right now, like BT, calculator and so on.

The second version can't be used for sh!t. Nokia have decided which useless functions it contains and you have no control over it whatsoever. Never use it. Waste of space and hardware button 😞

An example: What do you need quick access to the most. A calculator or the GPS position of Burj al-Arab? Nokia have opted for the latter.

N95 8GB need more updates.

I think they didn't work well on the secondary objects , I was expecting new menus and icons but it's same as older N-Series device :S.
