mine was working fine now i open it and it closes right away.
I will re install it later but why would it have gone wrong?

I've had this happen to me as well, I think after I installed/deleted some other apps. I simply reinstalled YBrowser and all was fine again.
Are you using a Pizero theme? I found that this causes y-browser and the Nokia internet browser to randomly close. Switched to a different theme and it hasn't happened since

interestingly, yes. But as I like the theme (black and gold) I'll put up with the odd random close. I've just not found another theme I like as much.
I've noticed every now and again that some 'sign yourself' type applications have the same UID's, this can often mean they also have the same installation paths.
Maybe this is just speculation on my part since I've not actually invested any time researching the cause, probably the whole caged directory thing doesn't allow it either (meaning I'm wrong) - but anyway, it seems there is some likelihood that it is possible to kill another pre-installed app by installing another using the same UID, SID, and installation path.
It'd most likely result in a different hash - the phone should then throw an error saying as much though...
I might actually go and check in to this now. Hmmm.

I know what you mean, I'm very fussy with themes and found the Pizero ones to be among the rare few that are actually worth having. I am using the NSeries Theme 4 now (which is the one off the 8Gb). Is there a Pizero forum or anything so I can feedback my findings or see if it's been discussed before.

no im not using that. Never heard of it. I like the nersies built in theme.. i did install opera mini after y browser though. Ive reinstalled y browser and its ok again
