would love to help you but i can't cuz i never had this problem since i got my phone! but it's funny that your SE Service Point can't do nothing about it, maybe because it's not officially out yet.

Have you tried to as them to update your phone firmware??? Takes about 1,5 hours but can be worth it...

That's strange, never encountered that... But if the P800 hangs, don't remove the battery! just hold in the off/on button for ten seconds.

Have you tried to do a format? If this becomes a reoccuring problem, I think you should do a format.

Cheers.

The battery removal shouldnt do anything to symbian OS, its made that way.
So it should be safe.

And to Raven - These Bugs :P 😃

Yeah, of course there is a small possibility that some data is in progress of
writing itself to "drive" when removing battery.

But I meant that Symbian OS is designed that way that you can do almost
anything to it and it wont matter. Which is a good thing. 😃 (Try it with PC 😃 )

But of course the power button holding for 10secs is better option _IF_ it works. ( Usually does. 😃 )

firmware?? where can i get that ?????????

I had Symbian actually blow twice on my phone but never again since. Always the same time as well. Voice dialing using a bluetooth, the phone doesn't understand the voice command, tried again and the phone went boom.

I blame the weather though because quite obviously there couldn't be anything wrong with the phone because its perfect in every way!

I actually had to turn off voice dialing. I found that the phone would periodically crash on its own, just sitting there listening -- even power down wouldn't work -- had to pop the battery in each case. Other than that love the phone -- would love more details on firmware updates -- where to go?
