N95-3 short cut key prob.

Didn't find this one on the board but sorry if it's already asked.

I have a N95-3 with new V 11.2.009 FW, after the update I lost all the short cut keys except * key, (1-9, 0, , #) which used to correspond to icons on the display while in "menu", "office", "applications" etc. did this happen to anybody else after the update or is just my unit. :con?

any firmware upgrade delets all phone settings, unless you backed them up. so most likely your shortcuts must be re-mapped.

Are they not standard shortcuts on all phones? They're never user-mapped in the first place.

I have no idea why they would have disappeared, try a reset. Sometimes when first doing a firmware upgrade things go a little doo-lally

Mine work fine. I noticed that with the new firmware, the app/folder corresponding to the keypad button opens automatically. I think in the older firmware, it just highlights it.

By the way, I flashed my firmware twice. I think a reflash might be able to fix your shortcut problem.
