Ewan's been trialling Wavelog, a new blogging client. Although it does the job, he found the application too restrictive for advanced users and too hard for beginners to get to grips with. Here's the full Wavelog review .

Shame really, as I would love to have a new blogging client on my N95. The Wordpress only side of it doesn't bother me (as I use Wordpress) though the restricted to only one blog is short sighted. With all the other problems it means not be putting down my hard earned for this one just yet. Intead I'll stick with Kablog for uploading text only entries from my phone. It might be old and clunky but it was free and still works.
Thanks to Wavelog, I could finally remove e-mail account I've used for mobile blogging and get rid of SPAM and other security risks. I could even create different accounts for my fellow bloggers. No need to share one single e-mail address and the same password! And no size limit for photos (not to mention audio recordings and videos). And posts are displayed immediately do not depend on the frequency of mail server sync.
I have been using Kablog before but prefer native Symbian SIS application. Java is too slow and buggy. Can't really compare Kablog and Wavelog at all...
