I just bought a new sony ericsson w960i, but i've been struggling with something, the ALARM, when i set it, and turn off my phone it doesnt ring!! it only rings when the phone is on OR on flight mode, how can i change that?!
Something else, how can i switch between languages when writing a message using the keypad?! (not the screen, but the solid buttons)??

You cant change it.your phone must be on or in the flight status if you want to use the alarm.
why would you turn the phone off? would you set your alarm clock then switch that off??

Hi, not all models can support alarm still works when the phone is off. I know J300 alarm still works when phone is off.
To switch between languages when smsing, try the "*" or "#" buttons.

About the txt-ing, i tried the * and # buttons, but they dont work :-s
Does that mean something's wrong with my phone?
I can write in other languages but only with the touch screen key board, and i can recieve sms written n other languages so im sure the other languages r installed, what do u think i should do? :-S

I have this problem recently with my W960i phone..when I turned on the phone it says WATCHERMAIN THREAD APP IS CLOSED. Then I cannot receive any messages w/o restarting the phone. how can I fix this problem? can anyone help me. I cannot use my phone and to think of it my phone is brand new.
