i have a n95 8gb and tried sending a video clip to someone as a multimedia message but it says it has to be like under 300kb but all the videos you make are gonna b way bigger than that so is it possible to send a video clip message youve created with the phone? anyone know a way around this?

I believe there is a setting on the video options to make the videos fit for MMS. Set it to this, then record your message. It's only about 20 seconds or something, but it still works.

There is a way.Though It's not the answer your probably looking for.The only way that I know of is to turn the resolution down.If you go into the settings there's an option to turn the resolution down to MMS quality.Now there may be a way to send the "High" quality videos.But I don't have the answer as to how to actually accomplish that.So maybe someone else will post that answer.At least I hope so.lol.Because I would like to know myself.The only way that I could think of is to e-mail the "High" resolution videos.But that kind of defeats the purpose.Hope this helps..

In all seriousness though, the problem is that MMS has set limits on size. You only have the choice of downgrading/shortening the clip or sending it via email instead.
I believe the MMS size restriction is 100kb. Use the MMS video feature and whatever you record it won't be any bigger than 98Kb (so you have space left in your message to write something). As said before, the video will be 20 secs long at the very most.
If you create a New MMS and then do insert > new video it will set the recrding mode to 3GP rather than MP4. You then have approx 30s of recording time.
Limit on MMS has been 300k pretty much since 3G first launched and networks upped the limits.
Wow! You're right! I'm know the last time I sent an MMS with my N95 it was limited to 100Kb, and a size increase of x3 isn't something I would overlook. I wonder why that was...
i send lots lof video mms. jsut create new mms, then insert object, video. it will allow you to record 30 sec of small video.
