First of all, congratulations for such a nice forum. I find it very helpful.
Now to my question. I have managed to get push email to work on my P1i. It took some time with much trial and error, but it works now. My only concern is that my P1i needs to be online all of the time. If internet connection is not switched on I won't get my new mails sent to my phone. What I want to know is whether being online increases battery use. I have tried to find out by running some days with internet switched off and some days switched on and compare but the results are totally biased by the regular use of the phone. I get and make phone calls every day and their duration varies from day to day so comparison is difficult. So my question, is battery use increased when internet is switched on?
