video editing on n95 8gb?

9 replies · 3,716 views · Started 21 January 2008

when V15 came out there was talk of the video editing features that had been reinstated that were on the N95-1.

What exactly does this mean, where is the editing features for my videos?

Hi Liam, select the video from the Gallery application then select "Options" then "Edit".

you can still do some things like joining or cutting the videos but forget about the wonderful video editor suite that is preinstalled in every Nseries, it has been removed from the 8 gig version with no reason

The application that allows editing of videos has been removed from the 8gb and from the latest firmwares for all N95's (non 8gb).

Pain in the butt it is.

thats what i meant. Didnt the 8GB version have any editing at all prior to V15? Because I remember someone posting saying videos could not be edited again...

And the full editing software that used ot be on the standard N95, what was that like? Ive never seen it and wondered what I was missing out on..

The Video Editor is in the N95v20 its never been there int he 8GB.

IIRC it only becomes available in Gallery if you highlight a video clip, then it's options - edit - video editor.

IMO it would be better if it were always available in Gallery, and that would enable you to use its capabilities to do slide shows.

WOW, what do you know, there it is! You're awesome, thanks for that.
