Could any tell me if version 20 is available on 02 yet? I have unbranded my 02 one and upgraded but i have had a phone call from 02 saying it should be available. Can anyone verify this?

if O2 have called you to tell you its out, cant you just check yourself... after all, that is the most trustable advice? 😉

Just change your code back to the O2 one and run NSU, if it lets you re-install then it's available. Happy days:icon14:

If you already have v20, why do you particularly want the O2 version?

im on o2 got my phone today

on 11.0.026
dated 01-11-07
when i run the update gadget on the website it tells me i have the latest.

Really?
Surely v12 at least would be available by now!

Debrand FTW

debranding it seems like a lot of work im not sure i fully understand the process just yet.

i will have to read some stickies etc.

debranding is easy stuff really...(so long as you are happy to download and install stuff) though, like anything, there is always a chance you can have a problem, but the jump up to v20 is more than worth it.

There is LOADS of info here, so the stickies, if your not there already are a great palce to start. Plenty of help here to if you do get stuck. 😊

ur to kind.
i noticed everyone on here is helpfull 😊
as long as you dont ask silly questions all in caps that have been answered every day already 😊

bought my fone on o2. all you need to is change the product code using nemesis and then update the firmware to v20.

SOSAGES i think you are confused,N95 standard firmware and N95 8GB are not the same.if your phone is N95 8GB on 02 u already have the latest firmware for o2,upgrade v15 will be available soon.

LATEST FIRMWARE UPDATES ARE

N95-standard=from v12.0.013 to v20.0.015

N95-8GB=from v11.0.026 to v15.0.01

branded updates are not available on all networks but will be available soon,if you dont care about having the branded version, learn how to install the unbranded update which is available now.

Hope this makes things clearer

I'm on o2 and debranded the phone, what benefits would i get if i went back to a branded version?

Nothing!

Well, to be more objective, it depends on what you value. The branded ones generally add themes/custom icons and often disable certain features. In terms of functionality they never ADD anything though
