my phone is about 7 month old , and suddenly some buttons on a numeric keypad stopped working, it did not get wet or something, it just happened with no reason, anybody knows how to fix it?

ditch the 990i I have similar problem and can only use flip open keypad to enter as the flip closed on has reverted to Chinese characters even though phone is set for english. SE were NO help whatever
