Installing the application
1. Using your phone browser go to:
m.youtube.com/app
2. Follow the instructions to download YouTube
3. Exit your phone browser
4. Find the YouTube icon on your phone and start watching videos

Wow, thanks for the link! Just tried it for a bit, really like the interface - it looks much nicer than emTube, and the ability to link up to your own account is great. Only problem is you can't save videos to the phone, and it seems to stream the videos as lower quality compared to emTube.
Oh and one more thing - you won't hear any sound unless you have warning tones enabled in your current profile. Took me a while to work this out...
No wonder I did not hear any sound.... cheers!
Two things:
* You have to use the built-in browser in order to download it. The site complains in Opera. Took me some time to figure out!
* It doesn't support fullscreen viewing, which makes it kind of worthless in this version. It doesn't matter if you put the N95 in horizontal mode. 😞 (So we still have to use emTube - which isn't bad.)
pretty damn cool ! I prefer this over emTube even if it isnt full screen. Ive found the video doesnt jitter now and again in the official youtube app. Still a lot of improvements needed tho

Also just realised that this is an java application. The warning tones thing seems to apply to all the java stuff. When I downloaded lots of java games a little while back I was really confused when none of them seemed to have any sound!

this new youtube app is great,you get full access to youtubes libary unlike the old youtube mobile.
I hope they add sort by newest in later versions b/c when you go to one of your subscriptions they are just jumbled up so you cant tell which ones are most recent, but it still great to have a official YT app.
