Hi all, I got my N95 8gb today and I'm quite impressed with it so far.

A few problems I'm experiancing,

MSN Messenger, I try to connect to MSN messenger but I can't I get a message saying "Cannot conect to service, this may be due to incorrect settings or roaming restricting".

I Have the 'Sign in as' selected as hotmail.com
Under the 'email address' I have tried both [email protected] and just myaddress.
I have triple checked my password.

I select my 'access point' as Contract Internet.

I cant see what I'm doing wrong, I am on vodafone and pay extra for internet usage which I can use to access websites.

Edited - Please dont discuss illegal software on the forum

Is there a toolbar type thing on it? something to show you what programs are open I had one on my W850 which was useful, on the n95 I keep finding I have loads of programs open because I use the end call key to exit them.

Anyother tips or usefull software recomendations would be appriated.

Cheers
Chris.

Hi.. I too have had problems with the messenger, my access point it likes in contract wap. Don't know if you have that on your list but it doesn't connect every time and when it does it can take a while. I have Garmin on my phone, works fine with internal gps, my suggestion would be to leave it by a window for say 20-30 mins and let it find the signal. Mine to ages to find the signal first off and after that it finds it in about 30 secs. If you don't have any luck, a mate has route66 on his, that works with internal gps too.
I just use a task manager to see what programs are running
