hi i recently updated the n95 firmware to the latest version, which is the v15.
but i now realised that something is happening to my applications. for example, i installed a game i bought-tiger woods 07 but after installing other applications like google maps it went missing. (???)
and i also tried installing applications like Accelerometer but it never appeared on my list of applications. i tried re-installing and e phone states that theres already one in there.
i would appreciate it if someone could give me a solution, thanks.
If you installed anything before updating the firmware it'll be wiped - you'll have to reinstall all your apps and games.
Accelerometer doesn't show up in the application folder as it doesn't do anything on its own; it works with apps like RotateMe to use the N95's built in technology. It should show up in your App. Manager as RDAccelerometer if it's installed correctly, but not the Applications folder...
I also found I installed a couple of Java games that conflicted because they weren't supported for N95 (Penguin Throwing and Lemmings or some such crap). When I installed the second game the first stopped working, and I couldn't uninstall them 😞 Had to reinstall then uninstall to get rid of them... But that was Java apps
so that means i just wasted 8 bucks on my game?? coz e app. was wiped out?
how do u reinstall e application-tiger woods 07?? sorry im new to the nokia world.
another thing, i tried to install an application but the phone reads 'certificate error, pls contact the supplier'.
ive already checked the settings in e app. manager>>settings>>software installation>>All
online cert. check>>off
no default web address.
btw thanks for e quick reply =)
