Hi, I have 2GB card for my N95, and it was in my old phone..
It is organised so everything is in folders, i.e
Video->
Randoms
Birthdays
Football
Pictures->
Randoms
Holidays->
Kavos
Tenerife
Laganas
..I think you get the idea, lol..
..Obviously when I go into the gallery, as you know everything is just bundled into one place. This means if I want to go back to videos from Kavos holiday I have to scroll back for ages (theres over 2000 items) to find it.
Is there anyway the Gallery can reflect the folders on the memory card so I can select photo's or videos by folder?
If not is there any software that can do this as I think this is a major oversight by Nokia.

you can set up albums in exactly the same way nearly ie. all your holidays have a seperate album then you would just open the album you want to view

yo, I tried to use the albums technique but you have to select all the files individually that you want in an album, then make the album, then add those files to an album..
I have over 2000 items, that would take hours as the Nokia is incredibly slow when dealing with memory cards, is there another way? Or does somebody know of any software that might help?

there prob is some 3rd party app out there that will suit you not sure what though. only advice i can give is to maybe move them all over time so your not bored to death then when ever you take more add them as you go. if you are on holiday or at an event say, you can set the camera to save to a specific album so you dont need to move tham all then change ot for your next outing
I wouldn't mind a 3rd party app that would organise my media better, at the very least I'd like the Gallery, upon opening, shows the album list instead of all the files.
