do games that come as zip files work on the n95 8gb? if they do how do i get it to work on the phone?

Only .jar or .sis(x) games can be installed.
If your game is in a zip file, unzip it?
.Yeah, you have to extract the .zip file on your pc before copying it over to your n95. Simply right click on the .zip file, select "extract" and keep clicking next. Then when you finish you'll have the folder pop up with the extracted file in it and just copy over the .jar or .sis file to your n95 via usb into whatever folder you choose (i use the "other" folder). then disconnect your n95 from your computer, go into the "other " on your memory card and install the file. After the install you can delete that file.
That's it. goto your applications folder and you will see it there.
Usually with games you just need to change the .zip file extension to .jar and transfer it to the phone.
I never bother transfering the sis or jar files to phone ,I keep them all in folder on pc and install them straight onto phone using nokia application installer
I always put them on the memory card and install from there. Makes life easier when you want to reinstall after a firmware update
