N95 will very annoying fault — Nokia N95 and N95 8GB

My N95 has developed a very annoying fault. It is behaving as if the hangup key is constantly being pressed to take me back to the main screen, so for example I try to go to menu it takes me straight back to the main screen. This has happend a few times but has rectified itself after a few hours...Usualy!!

Luckily i fork out each month to get insurance so can get it replaced however I am not keen on sending with all my info on. Is there anyway that I can reset the factory setting through my PC so that it is clean when it gets returned?

perform a hard reset *#7780# or Turn off the mobile device. Then press and hold �3?, the �Green button� and �*� - Turn on and keep holding the keys untill the mobile phone restarts and prompts you to enter details. think a hard reset will delete everything

Actually you want to use *#7370# which is Full Factory reset as opposed to the other code that restores Factory settings IMO.
