I've had a N80 for 18 months and loved it. The browser was superb and I often used it for reading the BBC news website over wifi. I've moved to a N95 and the broswer now automatically redirects me to the mobile site. I'd rather have the full one and scroll about but can't seem to get it to stick with it. I can occasionally get it to work by clearing all the temp files but teh next time I connect its back to low rent news.
Anyone any ideas?
It's the little things isn't it. This wound me up too, moving from the N80 to the N95 8gig.
This isn't how I did it before, but it appears to work. Just type in http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/default.stm and you'll see the full version, and you can then navigate from there.
on the bbc site there is a preference setting so that you can choose which style you want you should only have to do this once 😊
is there a view full site link at the bottom? Cant remember, been a while since I used it on the N80 but I know what you mean...
You can go through 'preferences' at the bottom to choose between 'standard (mobile)', 'enhanced (mobile)', 'PDA' and 'Desktop' versions - then it's probably easiest to just bookmark the one you prefer...

Exactly what I did. I use the PDA version as it seems to strike a nice balance between speed and content
