Distinctive call and SMS tones possible?

Hi,

I'd like setup different tones for work and personal use
(for both calls and SMS) if possible. Has anyone worked
this one out?

EDIT - I've discovered how to do it for ring times
(Edit Contact - "ringing tong"😉.. just wondering about
now SMS.

Hello,

You can setup different profiles for your work times and personal use.
This is Nokia style.. i like it.

Go to tools>proffiles
The options>create new or edit

Voila you can customize your profiles the way you want.
With a little investment you can have a software called autoprofiles wich changes your profiles automatically for you.

This app can be found for example on my website at the address in my signature.

Hi swingerman,

thanks for your time. I'm aware that I can switch
the profiles (creating different ring and SMS tones)
but unfortunately i'm someone who gets work
calls at all sorts of times and want to be able to
just have different tones for different contacts in
my addressbook.

As I described above, this is possible for 'ringtones',
now i'm just wondering about SMS. I'm happy to
pay money for some software if anyone knows of
any.

you can try skye caller pro. This is more than you need. You can assign image video and sound to contacts and set to use themfor incoming and/or outgoing call and/or sms.
