hey i have a couple quick questions if someone could answer:
after i change the product code and update, will the phone be reset and all info and apps lost?
If i installed some apps onto the memory card, and i buy a new 8gb memory card, do i just copy over all the contents on the old card to the new one?
will the apps still work properly or does everything need to be reinstalled.
Lastly, my pcsuite wont backup the phone. It gets to about the last step and gets stuck at 66%... should i wait longer? how long does it usually take to backup fully? what could be wrong? resintall pc suite?

2. Yes, but you'll need a card reader to do it as 'mass storage' on the phone doesnt show program folders
3. If all of the apps are on the memory card you wont need to. if some are on the internal memory then yes
4. I'd maybe wait a lil longer as it does take a while, if you still have probs i'd make sure the version of pc suite you have is the latest. Also i think theres a backup app inlcuded on the phone which'll back up your phone contents onto memory card

i have used the in phone backup of phone memory to phone card. so when i use the new card i just use the phone card to phone memory? or will all the apps already be automatically transferred to the new card?

Yes and no, all of your contacts and that stored on the card will need to be transfered back. though all apps installed on the card should work automatically
Some clarity!
If you have apps installed on your mem card you will have association problems if you debrand and upgrade!
Always install to the phone mem for increased stability and to avoid crashes.
You would also run the risk of problems if you changed mem cards so if the apps are on the phone any card change would have no effect.
