N95 8gb volume button chrome rubbed off

I have had my n-95 8gb for only about 2 months and already my chrome volume button is rubbing back to clear plastic. You hardly notice it unless you have the camera on, and then the button lights up for zooming.

Do you think vodafone would replace this? It's pretty poor workmanship! The rest of the phone is in immaculate condition, so it's obvious i haven't been messing around with it!

Not happy at all! 😞

yeah, that is pretty poor... guess it depends on how much you complain, or think its worth while them taking your phone apart just to swap that button??

Well, to be honest i do, cos i wanna sell it 😃 Plus, even if i was keeping it i'd be pretty mad....it's well crap!

None of the other buttons look slightly worn, just this random one?! 😞

well, theres your answer then! 😉

Go moan at voda, and if they dont sort it... sort it yourself. 😊

mine too mine started coming off in the 1st 2 weeks its not just 1 button either its the d pad and 2 main 1s
i did get a little scratch on d pad though then it started peeling the other 2 god knows why they started peeling, none of my friends peeled off i think its a fault with a select few i'm getting it cutomised any way so i realy not that bothered

I've got an N95-1 and the crome has come off some of my buttons as well. The green call key is the worst - almost half the crome has gone. I've had mine since the middle of April last year, but it's still not good. I'll just buy new buttons when I come to sell it.

I've had mine since May 2007 and it still looks new. No problems with chrome buttons. I got mine in a case, maybe that helps.

hahaha if its in a case then yeah, Id say that would help! 😉

Saying that tho.. mine isnt and its loosing a bit of the chrome off the green key, but Ive only noticed that now! :@
Otherwise, its fine. Its normal day to day routing is flopping around in the car cup holder, lazing around on my desk, or going down the boozers. Oh... and the occasional kids taking pics with it.

i've had mine since oct 2007 and mine has done the same, o2 don't care cos the phone works,
