Have searched for this, but couldn't find anything (but apologies if it's been asked before!).
Anyway, have decided to take my running from the treadmill to the great outdoors. As such, I'd like to use my N95-1 with sports tracker to measure my distance, speed, pace etc.
But, I need something secure to carry it in. Ideally something like the iPod arm band cases you can get. In fact, I'm tempted to try a cheap one of these - but wondered if anyone knew any N95 specific arm band sports pouches they could recommend?

You know that in order for GPS to work correctly the slider has to be open??

I've been on around 20+ walks where I live, with tracker on, the slider closed, and the phone in my back pocket - and my gps works just perfect thanks!

The location of the gps is a major design flaw in my opinion.
Used mine in the back seat of a car on saturday actually for navigation. Also with the slider down, and worked fine.
Are you using A-GPS?
And, anyone any advice on a sports case arm band holder wotsit?

I have an older arm wallet and my N95 fits in there in it's Body Glove case. Use it for running myself. Works great.
Lovely, that looks pretty perfect.
Would still love to see an N95 specific one though - but this looks close enough.

A-GPS only assists in getting the initial lock, after that it is just regular GPS.
I have a little Nike velcro arm pouch I got from a sports shop for about �15 which is the perfect size for my N95. It's grey with that breathable material. Works great
The asics arm band 8ball suggests is too small. I had a look at it today in a sports shop and it wouldn't close.
I've got one and it fits fine with my N95 8Gb. Don't know if it's a different design now though. I've had the arm band for over a year.
Must be different. I couldn't get it closed in the shop. I found this Hilly version on Amazon.
Just in case anyone is searching forums for arm bands that work.

I picked one up at a Nike Outlet store for 5.99+tax, which I felt was a fair price.
This is a high quality good value arm band that fits an N95 and works well for sports tracker.
You could throw in a drivers license/id card/etc in there along with your phone as well, I know from experience.
