One thing I personally missed very much in P800 was a timer that would go off after a certain time has expired. Using the alarm of the phone isn't very handy because you have to know what the current time is and then calculate the alarm time, when all you want to do is e.g. to have the alarm go off in 15 minutes.
Even after browsing through some midlets, I still couldn't find a proper application that would do the trick for me. So here is QuickTimer for your pleasure. 😊
All you have to do is set the time you want the QuickTimer to count down from and press start. It will sound an alarm when that time has passed - nothing more, nothing less.
The application uses the functionality provided by the PTimer package in PersonalJava which should guarantee pretty accurate timing.
