It seems that Nokia Maps just got new data. Or at least when I started up Map Loader just now, a popup message informed me that there was new map data and that my existing map sets (on memory card) would be deleted and replaced. Alas, there are no clues as to what exactly has been improved, so comments welcome if you spot any changes in your neck of the woods!

I think you did not check quite a long time. I upgraded maps a month ago (while upgrading phone firmware) and now nothing happens if I start Nokia Map Loader...

Yeah, Steve. Double check please. There was an update with the new map application. But it is all quiet over here too. Not that the map upgrade helped I still get told to go right when I need going left...
Wierd. I'd just grabbed local maps over the air, so I know they were current, on a virgin device. And then I started up Map Loader and got the message.
Ah well. I'll adjust the news story so that it falls off the front page etc

Maps now appears under Download! but clicking on it just launches the application with no changes
