Does anyone know of an app that I can download for my nokia 5500 that will ignore the balance message that is sent using a prepaid service.
I had a couple days (great days) where it didn't show up then I had to turn my phone of and back on and the messages started showing up again. So whatever goofed up to cause that... there has to be an easy app to block these annoying messages.
Provider is cingular.
I�ve been busy the last few days searching and posting here and there for a way of blocking them. I downloaded a link for the "F-Secure " Firewall and and anti-virus package but have not yet installed it and as I�m leaving Spain in a few days,won�t. Don�t kknow if it would work anyway, a firewall.
I�m in Spain using Yoigo and these messages are driving me nuts, even though I�m starting to go less nuts and live with them. I don�t want to be informed when I�ve spent €0.001 and because Yoigo havew a daily spend limit on internet usage I also get them that say this has cost u €0.000.

Nope no luck so far. I guess there aren't too many people that know much about symbian and USSD. There has to be an easy fix to get the phone to ignore them.
I'd gladly buy an app if it could turn the messages off. Please someone has to have a solution for this......
