The best (also just about the only) database system for S60, HanDBase has had a big update. v4.0 was announced in December and has been going through test builds. v4.00.55 is now online and working well. See below for a changelog, links and some screenshots. Also of note is that the desktop client has also had a big update and looks a lot more modern.

This looks pretty cool but I don't see how it could possibly be useful. I mean why would you want to have a full blown database on your mobile device?

my E61 i choosed because keyboard is an easy way to enter data and as a phone it is always with me.
But notes is a poor application and is no good past a few notes per month
databased are great to be organized on remembering good restaurant, books, films, information on you hobby, language...
I bought handbase a year ago as nearly the only solution quodb exist but quite limited.
version 4 seems great but last download i did, either on my wife E61i or my E61 database creation simply kills the app at the end.
And what is really needed on space limited devices is a way of design simple forms!
So much space is left.
i wish lonely cat games put their nose inside this. their interfaces are great for space efficiency,a shame they removed the save message option in their latest profimail version, it was a beter note remplacement for me, some time written on my desk PC...

Just an FYI, there was indeed a problem with database creation on some devices, but we fixed that earlier this month with an update release. Check it out! Thanks Steve for posting the announcement.
