is there anyway to get shortcuts on my w960 without having to have the walkman button or office stuff across my screen?
i just want the normal screen with access to some shortcuts?

Little unclear about what exactly your after, what office stuff are you referring to? In office mode with everything minimized all you have is a slim walkman line at the top, "today" which can be expanded or minimised and 5 shortcuts (there is also a small arrow by the shortcuts that when tapped expands the shortucts to show 15 shortcuts instead of 5). Is that not the sort of thing your after?
thx gebby i got it all sorted now, i missed the preferences menu and didnt know you could minimize all the other things.
