Hi,
I have the 7.24 version on my E90. How can I update the software as when I input my product code it tells me that the software I am running is already latest. Is the 7.40 version better?
I have read on the forum that it can be done by changing the product code. Could anyone advise how I can do that?

You do it from PC Suite. Make sure you are running PC Suite 6.85.14.1 and select Upgrade phone software from the File Menu.
I think you missed the point vsmith - read the post by topiwala again.

My bad, I just consider a software upgrade different than a flash update.
Thank you very much. Just one silly question. What product code do I use so that I do get the 7.40 update. I am in the UK on O2.
Thank you very much. One final question. Is there a real advantage in moving from 7.24 to 7.40.
Also once I change to 7.40 the warranty becomes invalid. So if I do have a problem and I need to send the phone to Nokia will be able to reflash to 7.24 by changing the product code to my original code which is 0553342.
Also I have quite a lot of softwares which I have purchased..eg Nokia Map navigation, Quick office, Handy Tools. When I reinstall them will my unlock codes work or will I need to contact the vendours for new unlock codes
