monikker lets you make and receive 'colorful calls' ...
make colorful calls to other monikker users
When you phone other monikker users, their phone rings with the sound and picture or animation you chose. <<< new / cool

receive colorful calls from anyone at all
change your phone's boring sound-only ringtones to noisy colorful animated hyperactive monikker ringtones.<<< also pretty cool
Impress your friends. Annoy them. It's up to you.

It's free, it's fun and it's easy to use.

A couple of notes based on early feedback from users ...
1
On newer Nokia mobile phones, after you install the monikker program on your phone, you have to manually start it.

You'll find the monikker program in the 'my own' folder on your phone. Click on it with the joystick to start it.

2
To make it automatically start when you turn your phone on (recommended), do the following:

from the monikker menu select:

Options > Preferences > Settings, then change 'Auto start' to 'Yes'.

3
To get rid of the 'Allow monikker to connect ...' messages

Answer 'No' to the question 'show download warnings in the future' message which comes up after each of these messages.

Or alternatively, open the monikker program and go to 'Options' - 'Preferences' and scroll down and change 'Prompt for download' to 'No'.

4
Don't forget to select a valid Internet Access Point !
