Hi all
When i record a voice tag for a contact or magic word through my P800 and try to use the voice dial through my HBH-20 it gives no match most of the time, but if i do that from the P800 it is fine.
Does any one know how to record the voice tags through the HBH-20 not from the P800?
Thanks
I did experience the same problem, and it looks like there is a problem getting some of the HBH-Bluetooth to work properly with the P800. I tried the HBH-30 and it worked fine as long as I stayed within 1 feet from the P800. When I held the P800 behind my back or took a few steps away from the phone, there was a huge reduce in the sound quality. I then tried the HBH-20, with the same result.
I went back to the shop where I bought the P800 and the Bluetooth and we spend at least 2 hours trying several different P800 together with different HBH-20 and -30, always with the same result. They did promise me to look in to the matter and to have a talk with their tecnical support.
This was yesterday and as soon as I get more info on this matter Ill let you know. :-?
A shop with different P800's??? Man, I wish I could find a shop in the Netherlands where they have 1......
😮ops: Unfortunately it is the same as with T68(i). The P800 only uses the built in microphone for recording the voice tag.
😃 Voice dialing works just fine even with a Motorola BT-Headset. - I believe we all can live with that.
with the t68i you CAN record voice tags very easily from your headset, not so with the p800... which is a real shame. on the t68i, turn your headset on, press the button on the side & itll connect to the phone.. all voice related commands will be relayed through the headset.
My problem is solved. 😃
With the new upgrade "RD1" my P800 now works fine with any bluetooth and it also fixed the bug with poor outgoing sound quality.
It took the SE Customer Care Center about 1 hour to upgrade my phone.
Thanks SE!
