Any way to remove Discover N-gage?

6 replies · 8,014 views · Started 03 February 2008

I just purchased a N95 8GB. I have uninstalled the two demos that came with it using the App.Mgr. But when I select Game, the Discover N-gage app is still there, with the titles of the deleted demos. Any way to get rid of them? I have Y-browser installed, but don't know which files to delete.

Thanks.

why do you want to delete it? when they release the new Ngage somtime in the next month u can download the application using that discover N-gage link
making it easy to get.

p.s its free too

I think it is a part of the firmware and you can not remove it, I think so becuase on the N95-1 after the v20 firmware the ngage thing was there.

I dont play games on mine and the demo ones that came with the V20 upgrade dont work now (wont run since I did "key-press restore"😉 so I wouldn't mind getting rid if there was a way.

you cant uninstall it, but you could move the shortcut to a little used folder, or to the bottom of the menu folder for example... or whereever you have the most shortcuts.
