Hey so i just noticed on the sky website that you can have this sky anytime on your mobile

but what i don't understand is it is not letting me watch tv even thoe i have a full suscription to sky (all chanels) why

the app is free to account holders viewing Tv on it costs nothing but you have to get it activated i think using your sky account. phone customer care to link your sky package to your mobile or activate it putting your account number in the app settings,

as ccraig said, the app itself is free, but the watching TV isn't. I think its a 3 day trial and then a pay service.

The planner etc etc is free.

You can activate it thru your TV/web etc... its a bit of a ball ache signing up in total for this...

the best thing to do is follow there instructions on the website or call customer care, b/c after all if you have the right kind of sky package its free or you could add it to you package deal and they will be happy to help either way

sky entertainment news and sky sports new on sky mobile tv is free but Sky Mobile Anytime is £5 a month for unlimited viewing. linky

and dont forget your mobile phone network will charge you for the data transfer, unless you have unlimited internet deal.
i use the vodafone tv and have over 40 sky channels b/c if you use vodafone products there is no data charge.
its £10 a month but dont have to pay data charges for connecting and transfering data on the internet connection you must beable to get a 3G signal to use i

there is cheaper vodafone TV deals starting at £3 a month up to £10 a month for every channel

oh u can try it for nothing free for a month just go to vodafone live(UK) wap site

surely you could use wi fi to watch it for free then you dont have to have an unlimited data plan?

the sky any time app allows you to remote record and check tv listings, not watch TV on it.

if you want that you need to pay 5 pound a month and thats just for Sky Sports.

Depending on how far along the Program Guide I go, my usage is always around 18-40kb to set 1 or 2 recordings and panning across a few days of listings. The app tells you your usage when you sign off also. :icon14:
