hi,

Do you thing that if I put the minimum useful applications on my nokia n73 it will be faster?

Any other tool to help to make it faster? This phone is the worst I ever had.

Thanks.

First thing to do is check the firmware - type in *#0000#

If its prior to v4.nnnn, then it's old and relatively slow. Version 4 is considerably faster.

Hower, do remember that no amount of software will be able to make the processor any faster than it is, or the memory any faster than it.

Of course, software updates might be somewhat better optimized, and faster, and maybe also free up memory, etc., but physical realities do not change.

(One can also put this the other way around: Software can be written so, that no amount of hardware makes things run fast. E.g., it seems that Windows and Microsoft Office performance has been similar for all eternity; processor speeds have multiplied, amount of memory has increased hundredfold, storage space and disk spsed has grown, but Windows and Office are always as slow as ever in actual usage.)
