Since you cannot synch Palm data with the 7650 via PC suite, but you can import it, I have been importing every week my updated calendar from the Palm to the 7650. Takes a long time...
BUT, whilst the individual entries with times are reflected as in the Palm, repeated entries such as public holidays, birthdays are added! After several data imports, I have, well several notes per day for the same event 😮
Any ideas? I thought of emptying the 7650 agenda prior to the import, but is that possible??
Tried to empty the Palm datebook.dat file, but PC Suite didn't recognise the format...

Actually going to answer my own question, just in case anybody finds themselves in the same situation: I was finding that the "data import" of 500 calendar fields was taking up to 2 hours!!! via IR.
So I went to the folder where the Palm datebook backup file was, copied the backup file and emptied the file in the original location (leaving the header info).
When I imported the empty file to the 7650 I got an error message, something like "invalid file", but it did indeed empty the 7650's calendar.
Then, put back the original datebook.bat file to its original location, and imported the calendar data, in seconds.
Messy, but actually quicker than importing the calendar into the 7650 which already has data inside.
Oh, for a "net synch" 😊 😊
