I am currently using Emoze on my Nokia N95 - Everything working perfectly fine except for the following:
I cannot download and/or view attachments within email received - these attachments are from various file format (i.e. Excel XLS, PDF, TXT). Please note that I cannot even download and view an attched text file.
Everytime, I selected view attachment - Emoze the show downloading attached file name - but it just sits there for ages without effect. If I then press Select on the downloading file - Emoze asks me Are you sure to stop download?
All text within email body is fine - would someone help me with this - many thanks in advance.
I'm having exactly the same problem. It's so irritating since I can't seem to find a push client that does EVERYTHING properly - System SEVEN slows down the phone, Emoze works great but now this attachment thing is the problem.
I have a feeling Mail for Exchange would work but it doesn't even want to connect to my account, conks out with that Account Disabled problem.
Frustrating.
Anyone managed to get the attachments working in Emoze?
Anyone else care for further comments and/or solutions to get Emoze to work with attachments.
In relation to Nokia's Mail for Exchange - I have tried but just could not get it to connect to our company's Exchange server. Problem was exactly same as Vlad had. I am not sure what the solution for this either.
Please anyone help.
Very unfortunate- i emailed support at emoze and got no reply, and the admin still haven't approved me to post on the forum.
Other than that there is very little user activity out there.
What a coincidence - I have also emailed Emoze technical support a few weeks ago and they have yet response.
It appears that we are on our own on this subject!!!
It seems you get what you pay for.
Tuan, I finally got a response from Emoze.
Apparently it is a known issue - and the workaround is to start the download, then sign out and sign back in.
Unfortunately this does not work for me - I get the same behaviour as usual.
Can you try it and let me know?
Hello Vlad,
I have tried what you have mentioned without success - Nothing changed in my case.
I am wondering whether Emoze technical department is currently working on a fix to this issue.
They have yet response to my email.
Thanks.
hello
did on the n95 even the Email sending work with Emoze ?
because on the s60 3d Nokia E61 it doesnt work if using Gmail or personal Email account.
I hear they is a workaround for the N series, with adding the Emoze Inbox to the active Standby, but this dont work on S60 3rd. Theres no possibility to choose the emoze folder to add it on the 6 apps list.
From their Support.. no answer at all.. since months 😡
best regards
Sending works fine for me. The workaround for attachments also works, but downloads are very slow. There is also a 100kb limit on all attachments, which is not so cool.
However it works well, pushes emails quickly and doesn't slow down the phone like seven does.
