Thirty minute previews of the N-Gage 1st Access games

Following his look at the N-Gage client, here's Ewan's preview of each of the four launch '1st Access' games, System Rush:Evolution, Creatures of the Deep, Block Buster Deluxe and Space Impact: Kappa Base. Do each of the demos lead on nicely to a full purchase? And if not, why not?

Read on in the full article.

I've got the demo version of System Rush Evolution that's been on my N95-1 since day 1, almost a year ago now. Never figured it out. How do you keep going beyond the apparent 30 second limit? Are there any instructions anywhere? I never found any.

Good point about that psychological barrier, I hate these time limit demos. Also never figure out this odd System Rush Evolution demo.

I think its that you have to pass a checkpoint before the time runs out. I love the new system rush game.

I installed the new N-Gage on my N95 8GB and have to say was totally UNDER-whelmed by the whole experience.

I tried Space-Impact which yes looked fantastic, but with auto fire was just far to easy and didn't feel exciting at all.

Block Buster deluxe was mildly fun, but the time limit is just plain crap, needs to let you play two or three levels at least.

So I have removed N-Gage at the moment and gone back to the preview version Asphalt 3 is far better than any of the current games on the full version, and you can't play it (all though it remains installed) if you install the full version.

I am sure the service will improved in the future, but for now its best left to the N81 owners.

Is the System Rush demo any better than the one you got with the N95-1 by default ?

I liked this game at the time as it showed off the tv-out capibilities well, especially in Landscape. Pity it was only a demo though.

I have big problems in this n gage..

If i try to register a new account, i get a message saying that my device is already registered (i don't know how nor why...)

If I try to retrieve my password, none of my email accounts is recognised in thir data base, so I simply can't do anything.

Is it because I'm playing with the hacked N Gage file? I have the N82...

In the Ngage site there's no place to register. Only the player's name, and again it says that I have already registered with my email (That's right the same email they say can't recognise)

Oh well....

Same here, the hacked demo does not let me download games on my N82. I have been able to register and I can connect to the network, but no luck downloading any games. Anyone else successful?
