Won't keep settings N95 8gb

I use the Gmail mobile client. It works fine, but after I've logged in, and then closed the app, it expects me to log in again next time I use it - that is, it doesn't save the settings.
I have this in other apps as well.
This is the second N95 8Gb I've had. The first had a broken button and was swapped out.
I've done the Firmware upgrade, but this hasn't made any difference.
The settings don't get saved on other apps as well.
Anyone got any ideas of what could be causing this?

Hi Ivan - I've got the same problem. Did you manage to fix it? I'm using a new n95 8gb with the latest 3 UK firmware. This is really frustrating as I use Gmail a lot - I find IMAP far too slow even when connecting over wifi.
