n81 Backlight

My Girlfriend bought a N81 8GB .... and she is complaining about the backlight remains on During Call draining battery and overheating phone...

is there any way .. to turn off the backlight manually or Automatically during call .... This would be really helpfull if anyone can tell me exact steps or any software that can turn off the backlight completely....

you can change the time lag before the backlight goes off after the last button press/screen slide

Menu>Tools>settings>general>personalisation>display and light time out.

don't know if this turns it off during a call tho, I've usually got my ear to the phone then 😉

you can also set the brightness down r up here too to save a lil more juice.
