Has anyone used a P800 on a flight?

Just wanted to know if anyone has actually used a P800 on a flight (in flight mode) yet? It's just I remember some bloke taking out his phone on a flight once and a member of the cabin crew went crazy. She pretty much threw herself at this bloke screaming at him, grabbed the phone and turned the thing off herself.

I guess the airlines must scare them something stupid in training with rubbish like "If someone uses a phone on board, the plane will instantly crash".

I can't imagine cabin crew have been trained to tell the difference between a P800 and any other mobile phone. They might take some convincing that this one's okay because it has a flight mode and the little green light not flashing is proof?

I actually tried my p800 in the aircraft while flying. Its pretty cool and causes no interference or danger what so ever. I could listen to mp3s, play games, etc..., but no bluetooth though

When I took my flight from Sweden to the USA last month, I just told the attendant that it was a PDA, not a phone. Easy enough. If she didn't go for that, I would just turn it off, and then turn it on again and have her press the "Flight" button, to convince her (more convincing than switching on the fly).

Used my P800 extensively on flights between sweden and USA without any problems, actually the airhostesses where impressed with the device!
